Mr Ihenacho is the Executive Chairman of Seven Energy International.

He is also a partner and co-founder of Amaya Capital Partners, an African-focused principal investing firm. Previously, he established and ran Afrinvest for over 10 years seeing the firm grow to £100m in turnover and oversaw the subsequent sale of the company in 2007 to United Bank for Africa PLC. Mr Ihenacho remains as a non-executive director on the board of this entity which is now known as UBA Capital Europe Ltd. Prior to this, Mr Ihenacho was Chairman of the Aureos West Africa Fund. He also has five years' experience at McKinsey & Co in London, Stockholm and New York and is a graduate of Harvard and Yale and was the President of the Harvard International Law Society. He was born and educated in Nigeria.

Andrew became an Independent Non-Executive Director of Seven Energy International in 2012.

He holds the position of Vice President Gas and Projects for Shell Global Solutions. Previously, Andrew was Managing Director of Nigeria LNG and Vice President of Bonny Gas Transport Ltd. In Nigeria, he held the post of President of the Nigerian Gas Association and in 2006 was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by the UK government for services to British business and sustainable development in Nigeria.

Ashley is a Non-Executive Director at Seven Energy International.

Ashley Dunster is a Private Equity Managing Partner at Capital International Private Equity Fund with primary responsibility for Emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa.Prior to this, he spent four years at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development with private equity responsibilities covering Russia, Kazakhstan, Hungary and Slovenia.

Gordon is a Non-Executive Director at Seven Energy International.

Gordon East is Managing Director of Petrofac’s Production Solutions business, focused on large-scale production enhancement projects.Prior to joining Petrofac, Gordon spent more than 20 years with ConocoPhillips in various management roles throughout the upstream business worldwide.

Osam was made a Non-Executive Director of Seven Energy in 2012.

Osam holds the position of Vice President, Oil & Gas at Africa Finance Corporation. He brings practical industry experience working with ExxonMobil’s West Africa team, Strategy Consulting for the Oil & Gas sector as well as financing for large scale Oil & Gas projects. Osam holds a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College in Vermont, and an MBA in Strategy & General Management from Cornell University (Johnson School of Management).

Ngozi was appointed Non-Executive Director of Seven Energy International in 2011.

Ngozi Edozien is the Head of Actis West Africa. She is responsible for all aspects of Actis’s private equity business in West Africa. Prior to joining Actis, Ngozi was Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Pfizer and latterly Regional Director for Pfizer Inc in West and Central Africa.

Yemi is a Non-Executive Director at Seven Energy International.

Dr Yemi Osindero is a Director of Standard Chartered Private Equity, with primary responsibility for the West African markets. He was previously the COO of Virgin Nigeria Airways, which he co-founded in 2005 and an Investment Manager with Virgin Management.

Paul-Jeroen has been a Non-Executive Director at Seven Energy International since 2011.

He is a transaction principal at Capital International Private Equity and is primarily responsible for transactions and investments in the EMEA region. Paul-Jeroen has a legal background having worked for a leading US law firm in London prior to joining Capital International.

Joshua is a Non-Executive Director at Seven Energy International.

Dr Udofia has over 36 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. He is the former Deputy Managing Director of Shell Nigeria and a Director at Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. Joshua was a co-founder of Gulf of Guinea Energy which was acquired by Seven Energy in 2009.

Fidelis was appointed Board Advisor to Seven Energy International in 2012.

Fidelis was educated at the Universities of Lagos and Oxford. With his combined experience as an English QC, a Nigerian SAN and a leading arbitrator with considerable experience of local and international commercial and investment arbitration, he is much sought after for heavy weight and complex disputes in Nigeria.

Clare Spottiswoode was appointed as a Board Advisor to Seven Energy International in 2012.

A mathematician and an economist by training, Ms Spottiswoode began her career in the Treasury before starting her own software company. Between 1993 and 1998 she was Director General of Ofgas, the UK gas regulator. She is Chairman of Gas Strategies Limited, and also a non-executive Director of Bergesen ASA. In November 2006, she became the Policyholder Advocate for Aviva plc. Previously, she was Deputy Chairman of British Energy from 2002 to 2007. In 1999, she was awarded a CBE for services to the Gas industry, and also holds an Honorary Doctorate of Social Sciences from Brunel University.
